Green Aventurine is a light to dark green Chalcedony containing tiny flakes of Fuschite (Green Mica) which give it an attractively spangled appearance. As a green stone it relates to the Heart Chakra  and is often called the "All Round Healer". Aventurine is also all about maintaining a natural breathing rhythm which enables the diaphragm to move easily, thus massaging internal organs and helping to maintain over all health. This also maintains personal power in the sense if being your natural self. It's easy to see how that natural breathing rhythm is curtailed when under stress.
